If the spokes weren't bladed, would you have noticed? It's pretty easy to straighten them out, you just need to be a little careful that you don't move the nipple at the same time. Before I procured a little plastic tool for the job, I used a small adjustable wrench to do just that. Put a strip of electrical tape on the jaws so I didn't scratch the spoke and create a stress riser, though that may have been overkill.
