Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking for a pink chain

My wife and I just purchased new bikes. I wanted to surprise her before the bike shop delivered it by having them put on new pink tires and a pink chain. I found some tires that will work for it but I wanted to know where to look for a chain or what to look for even. I do not know how they are measured or what will work with her bike. Her bike is the Specialized Ruby with SRAM Apex

If you know of any places that have a pink chain that would work for this bike then please let me know. I do not want to replace it if the quality of the chain will be less than that on the bike. Thanks!

check with your LBS, I'd be surprised if they didnt know how to get ahold of one.... seems like a lot of bmx and fixie riders are into colored chains.

Yes, but both BMX and fixie riders use far different chains than one wants on a bike with SRAM.

KMC does a few 9/10/11sp pink chains.

Are the KMC chains a quality chain? I would not want her to lose any quality or functionality for a pink chain. What do you think? Are the KMC chains a good choice? Thanks for all the replies!!

I choose to run a KMC DX10SC for no reason other than that I think it's a great chain, and I like the easy to use master link. Mine's not even pink.

Where did you get the pink bottle cages? I found some online, none in that shade. I can not believe that I am shopping for all of this pink stuff! ha ha!
