As a long time fan of "electronic" music, I am loving these mixes. Thanks! Would love to hear some Micky Finn, or Dillinja in there as well. But that is just me I am somewhat biased towards 90's Jungle, Ed Rush and Optical, Grooverider and the likes. But great job man keep the mixes coming!

This is GREAT! Ranks up there with the introduction of carbon fiber! Excellent job on the mixes. I like the name Velobeats name too. It's very particular to the cycling segment and makes me feel more "connected". Anyone else listening to it would like it but wouldn't know any better. Let's keep it that way! LOL. Great job and thanks for the music. I still have yet to ride with my new tunes but that will change shortly.

Thanks...now a little dynamic don't hurt!...I will work on the slower parts...I have an hour long balls to the walls mix coming up next week!
understandable!...you are the first person to want MORE house...most people want more dubstep...I respect your taste mayne...I prefer the house myself.

Okay, I broke in my new Orbea to Velobeats. The music is very cool. I do prefer house over dubstep but I can listen to both. I like what you did with the quotes from Jen Voigt and others. That was a great idea and better execution. Looking forward to the next mix.

I might have said this already, but awesome job. I've pimped velobeats on my blog, so hopefully you can get some more downloads from my team. Keep it up!

excellent track selection, and implementation of the cycling samples. My only gripe is that mixing is occasionally less than seamless (happens at major genre changes), but usually it's spot on. (but I used to DJ, so I'm a bit more tuned to notice stuff like that)
otherwise, great work! makes me want to ride my bike, and makes me want to dj. almost makes me want to dj while riding my bike, but I can't see that ending well.
out of curiosity, what gear/software do you use to put these together?

I put together another mix with Dubstep only, not really my cup of tea but cyclist seam to like it. This one has some AWESOME cycling snippets in it.

The podcasts aren't working on my iPhone. I get an error saying "The podcast --- cannot be played on this iPhone." Has something changed?

Did you download it to your iTunes? Maybe updating both iTunes and iPhone software will help. Like when you download it from sound cloud download it as just a single song rather than as a podcast.

I don't listen to music when I'm out riding but I like the mixes a lot and I'll listen to them at home. Thanks for putting these together.

Cool idea, altho I'm not sure what any of the mixes have to do with cycling aside from the odd quote here or there. I was sorta expecting some warmup, some peaks, some valleys, and then maybe a cooldown. Something to structure a workout to.
Also, like you, I'd be more into house rather than the obnoxiously annoying dubstep/electro fad that is going on right now (some dubstep even invaded Ferry Corstens show last night..wtf??). It's funny how much the sound can change from year to year. Miami WMC 2008 was fantastic, and yet miami WMC this year will make me feel old and outdated. Kids these days....
Anyway, from one bedroom dj to another, keep it up. People are obviously digging it.
