Here, Gunnar!
Just wanted to show off a pic of the Roadie I brought home yesterday. I spent 6 months researching bikes, 2 months convincing my wife it was a worthwhile purchase, and in the end I chose this one mainly because I loved the color. Well, it fits pretty darn well too. I especially like how it goes from olive drab in the shade to a kind of eye-melting goldflake tone in the sun.
Apologies for the iffy photo composition, the cheap platform pedals, etc. It'll take me a few months to get the bike equipped the way I want, and an entire lifetime to take a photo that I'm completely happy with.
Enjoy.

Gorgeous!!! Did you get that at Bikesource?
I was looking at one exactly that colour, size 58cm at Bikesource about 6 months back. Was very tempted....

Way cool.
If we keep it up at this rate there will be a real Roadie following around here.
Which camera are u using?

Thanks for the compliments on the bike, everyone, even though my only contribution is taste.
Stu - yes, I got it from BikeSource in HR - 58 cm. I tested it against a Specialized Allez, and this won hands down. I really wanted to test it against a C-dale R600 or R800, but they never had one in my size. No complaints, tho'.
Shadco - I use my trusty old Canon PowerShot G1. I had to seriously downsize these pic's to get them to upload, so it takes much better shots than shown here. Great camera, even if it's a little dated now.
BR - I came THIS close to choosing an Imola or a Vig before I saw this ride, but I just couldn't justify a Bianchi that didn't come in celeste.
Z - Check your PM.
Thanks all, and if you're thinking of a steel ride, it's hard to pass this by, especially if you want a frame made in the U.S.A. (I'll admit, that carried some weight in my decision, though it wasn't a make-or-break factor).

The ride is great, although it feels just a little twitchy to me (most would probably just call it 'agile'). I just chalk that up to not being on a road bike in almost 20 years. I think the LBS put about 120 pounds of air in the tires, so I feel every crack in the pavement, but I'll fix that before my next ride - I figure 95 lbs. in 25C tires ought to be enough, and it should smooth things out a lot.
Send me your address - you can have these pedals in a few months when I have enough put by for some shoes and Ultegras.
Otherwise, I imagine your LBS has a box full of them in the back room for the test fleet. All kidding aside, if I'm ever stupid enough to ride this bike (rather than my MTB) on a snowy / rainy day, these pedals are just the ticket to match my gore-tex hikers...

The Roadie responds to steering input much quicker but I've found it stable riding hands free.
