Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

List of all black framesets?

What other framesets out there have a matte/anodized all black paint job like the R5ca and CAAD10? I'd get a caad10 but they don't sell that specific frameset color in the US.

P.S. aluminum is preferred (but feel free to list any carbon ones too)

How about nude carbon. No paint.

I have a nude Calfee and not having paint on it is great. I don't need to be concerned with scratches or dings.

Here is a photo of mine

Parlee and Crumpton are also available in all black but they are carbon frames.

For less than 1/10th the cost of a R5CA you can get an older Soloist frame in black anodizing.

yeah, the Soloist looks pretty good but I'm guessing it's pretty hard to find a new one

You didn't specify that in your OP, but you shouldn't be afraid of a used frame if you inspect it. They sell the S1 now but with a glossy color scheme, I think it's mostly black but could be wrong. Same with the S2.

That was the first thing that came to my mind too when someone said "Paint it black." "I see a red door and I want to paint it black".

That looks like a bike the Marines would design. Awesome.
