Is this tire safe to ride on?
I recently ran over a shard of glass and punctured my tire and tube. Nice excuse to buy new tires for the road bike.
I wanted to put the punctured tire on an old commuter I have. The gash didn't look that bad when the tire was deflated, but now its on the wheel and inflated I don't know if the tire is any good.
Let me know... Pics below.

Ok thanks for all the replies! And, well my ancestors from from Scotland so maybe that explains the frugality. Off to the store to get a new one!
