Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Count me in for the very next tour after I'm cured!

Are there requirements for where we have to ride? If I just ride along some roads in St. Paul is that acceptable or should I plan some heroic trek (pun intended?) for it?

Either way, I'd like to be a part of this. (As long as it doesn't make me a Lance fanboy lol.)

what we did in the past is you ride anywhere you want, for as long or short a ride as you want. dedicate the ride to someone you know who has, or has had cancer. write that in the book and mail it along to the next person. Oh, and write your initials on the bracelet. that was a problem in the past as we would run out of room, or the older initials would fade or get smeared. better to use a pen or marker that wont run with sweat or water.

Maybe use a paint pen for the initials.

Prolly a smart idea, also as far as running out of room I got a solution. A good friend of mine is going to where a second bracelet for our Ride for the Cure ride on the 16th so I'll ship them both. When the first one fills up start on the second one. If somewhere down the line they both fill up....just add another to the package.
