Cables

Just purchased a Madone 6.2
How far away from the frame should cables be as they come out of handlebars and head into the frame?

mine bow out a bit to allow turning radius of the handlebars

Well being able to turn the bars is pretty important. Post a pic, hard to tell if they are too long without seeing them.

yep, it's quite possible the mechs who built up the bike bowed the cables out to allow those handlebars to pivot right, and also pivot left... jus sayin'.
