Scott R1 vs R2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Scott R1 vs R2

Question for all of you Addict riders. Any difference in the R1 vs R2 ( frameset) other than different CF, a few grams and $600.00? Tks in advance ------ Lp

kind of sounds like you answered your own question...but i've never ridden either, so i'll let others give advice. the different CF should make the R1 a little stiffer and lighter.

got to admit that the R1 mat black finish is sweet! so R1 has different paint, and is about 100 grams lighter... But worth $600 extra?
