I had not heard of origin 8 wheels until this weekend, but this is the 3rd reference I've seen on these boards alone. Looks like dt spokes laced to a kinlin rim with a very light aluminum hub possibly sourced from novatec or formula. Personally I prefer a few more spokes. Similar wheels are available from neuvation and bww.

I have no experience with their wheels but I've been very impressed with the Origin8 stuff I have used/dealt with. Seems to be real quality stuff with great pricing. I'm a fan of their stems, seat posts and tubes.

I'm getting ready to pop on a cannondale , this week . I want to upgrade the wheels ( now ).
They have these origin 8 areo wheel sets for 500.00 .
They say if I buy the wheels with the bike , they take 50.00 dollars off the price.
They looking nice .
This is my 3 rd bike in 10 years . I hope the last .
Thanks
Rick

Bikes: are better than yours.
I bought some Origin 8 disc hubs for a winter beater I'm building. They are adequate for the purpose, but I'm glad they were cheap. Both hubs were overtightened, the finish is mediocre and their name was spelled "Oringin 8" on the rear hub.

Origin 8 is J&B Importers' in-house brand. They pay other manufacturers, sometimes quite high end ones, to make the parts. So, they're hit or miss. Some are fantastic deals, really nice parts, without the pricey brand name stickers. Others are exactly what you paid for. As far as where to buy them, most bike shops should at least order from J&B occasionally, so I'd ask around.
