bianchi freaks!
CELESTE CREW, ROLL CALL!!
Break out your Celeste green boxers or the Bianchi decoder rings... I'm thinking about putting a small US based Bianchi forum (or email group) together and wanted to get a showing of support on these forums. Thanks! |
"Celeste green boxers or the Bianchi decoder rings..."
Hey that was my line :)!! The wife wants to get an Eros Donna (will not be in Celeste Green though) and I'm sure she's like to be part of your forum. On buying one of these Bianchis, I've noticed that there are no official dealers in my area of Santa Monica (meaning no one has exclusive rights to sell them but a lot of shops can call and order from them) and I was just wondering if I'm missing a few possible places to shop for them. Currently I'm talking to Supergo and Helens cycles and they say that they're pretty much at the mercy on what Bianchi tells them in terms of availaibility and pricings and I feel uncomfortable with the fact that neither shop has lot of showroom models (and nothing for the Eros Donna). Care to give some advise? |
I'm lucky enough to have a dealer right down the street! I did a quick search on www.bianchiusa.com for cali dealers... If there are none in your immediate area might I suggest a roadtrip? :D

When you mean dealer, you mean an LBS that has a full line of Bianchis on display and ready to test ride? Or just a shop with access to Bianchis? I guess I'm wondering if a real dealer has clout in terms of availability, service and ofcourse price, vs LBS that just call Bianchi on a need to order basis. |
Just ordered a Via Nirone 7 Alu Carbon Veloce 10 :D :D :D . At the LBS (here in Canada ) the 2005 Bianchi catalog had all the bikes from the Bianchi web site and none from the Bianchiusa web site. What is the difference between the 2?

There new line is pretty as all hell and I love their brand name cranks, just had the Bianchi USA and Bianchi Italia reps in at the office, we tried to get one of their celeste green capuchino makers out of em...
|
I love my celeste steel Bianchi, but I'd sell my soul for some of that white carbon.... in the shape of a "Luna".
|
umm....
I posted this in another thread but i guess it can't hurt to post it here right? Anyway, I wanted to know how much the '05 928 carbon/veloce MSRP is. If the price is right I just may end up with another Bianchi(albeit, a much more "modern" one) |
I have a Bianchi Campione in Celeste that is sweet. Actually I am trying to sell it so if you are interested in it and can tell me how to post a picture I'll post them.
Bianchi Campione (Celeste) Steel Frame Bought in 01 Kestrel Carbon Fork Chris King Headset (Black) ITM Road Racing Stem ITM Bars Sella Italia Flite Ti Saddle Centaur Cranks 170 Look Pedals (not higher end but not lowest) Mirage front and rear der. Mavic CXP 22 Rims $650 or best offer. |
i have an 05 axis that i am in love with. just need to lose the triple.
got a sweet celeste jersey recently, just need some celeste cages and tires and i'm in. |
I planned on buying a beautiful celeste Bianchi Veloce. Unfortunatly the store only had the 2002 in stock in my size which is blue and yellow. I couldn't afford to wait any longer so I bought it and rode it home. Can I at still consider myself a Bianchi lover if I buy some shorts and jerseys in celeste but my bike is blue and yellow?
|
I'm in.
|
I got a biachi brava, not sure which year, but there was NO CELESTE,I was pretty pissed but i love that bike.
Well, the sides of the tires are celeste, and the seat. Soon will be the handle bars. |
Count me in.
|
I'll ante up with a Trofeo in Celeste (with Gold Pearl clearcoat) Don

well, can anyone tell me what is so good about the bianchis??? I am about to buy a trek Madone SSL? Which one is better the madone ssl or the Bianchi Freccia Celeste 5???
|
BIANCHI.
Treks are for newbs. |
Count me in, '03 Axis!!!
|
LUV my Volpe!! There is a L'UNA in my future...oh wait...I mean my dreams!!!
|
yeah, thanks for the help, trek's are for newbies, sure, but why. I hate when people are just like "sure buy shimano xtr because......its XTR" show me why trek's are for newbies. Which one is better, i believe that was my question.
|
I just got my girlfriend a used Eros Donna today - she's an italian herself so it won out in the end over a Felt and a Trek.
qtguard, there isn't really an answer to which is better, truth be told. There's obviously a lot fewer Bianchi's on the road than Treks, so the latter has a little less mystique, that's all. Both make very sweet bikes, get the one that turns your crank. |

Clausen, as you noticed you get the international line, which is what appears on Bianchi.com. Bianchiusa is just that-Bianchis for the USA. forum*rider, Bianchiusa.com should be your friend. All MSRP info is on there. GTguard, have you ridden the Madone? If so, did you like it? Have you ridden the Bianchi? If so, which did you like more? Personally, I don't care for the ride of the Treks at all, not to mention some issues I have with their business practices and the fact that everyone has one. That's just me, though. You need to figure out what bike you like best. I would suggest taking a look at either the 928 carbon or 928 carbon lugged from Bianchi. IMHO, they blow the Treks out of the water. I'd almost sworn of carbon bikes until I got my XL carbon (last year's 928). |
