Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

what do you think this is worth?

i found a Soloist frameset that i would like to make an offer on.
it's a 2006, no visible damage, apparently ~3800mi on the frame.

the dude is asking over $900.
i believe the frameset retailed for around $1300 new.

what should i offer?

$500 unless Pcad is selling it. If it is Pcad, double his asking price and get him to sign the frame.

I agree with $600. And fwiw, I own a 2008 Soloist. Great, great bike, but $900 for a used Al frame is too high.

The Soloists seem to go for anywhere from $400-750 depending on age. Usually the lower end is the blue painted ones and the higher end is the anodized one like you posted.
