Unwritten rule of chamois cream

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I would absolutely love to see some links to some super great time tested cycling shorts so I know what I should be looking for. Thanks guys!
These are my favourite shorts. Next time I'm in Canada, I'm hoping to buy several.

My second favourite shorts are Fox ... which I don't think are made anymore.

I must say that my comments relate only to males and for them it would seem that a little DZ nuts on the inner thigh is important.

As far as underpants that defeats the benefit of your bike shorts and should not be used.

Honey and menthol? Sounds sweet and wild.

Honey works for me. Try it. Nobody has to know and you got nothing to lose. Preferably the local kind. Do it several times tho', so the skin gets used to it. Do some research on honey.

For sex or cycling? It would seem to make things very sticky and be a host for bacteria.
