Of course, the one downside is that it measures your power in one position only - that in which it was calibrated.
So leaving aside the well-documentated theoretical shortcomings of the unit, it seems to work reasonably accurately for what it is. Unless anyone actually has any first-hand experience that would indicate to the contrary?
(I have no dog in this fight - I have a Quarq and a PT, so it isnt as if I am trying to prove to myself the iBike kicks ass).

You might want to read the very long thread on the iBike and be open to other options. fyi, we know how it will "work" out. GL
