Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Forte Advanta wheels

Anyone ever seen the Forte Advant wheels? I can't find them on their website, but I was in the shop a couple of days ago and they had one front wheel. It's a low-spoke wheel like the Titan, but in a star pattern. Pretty cool. Was wondering if anyone had seen these. I'm interested in getting a pair.

Why not stick with the tried and true titans/neuvations/bww/aksium/etc?

Yes, they were pretty cool looking. Think I'll just get the Titans. Just kind of weird that I can't find any information about these wheels anywhere.

Probably a wise decision. Exotic spoke patterns and budget wheels don't seem like a good mix to me.
