Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't wear team kit. But I think I want one of those. I'd want a guarantee that the name is f***ed, though.

I recently rode with someone who has one of the Chinese Euskaltel kits (different website, but I suspect same factory). Now I need to go back through the pictures and see what is really says.

Many Americans pronounce it "Chipolte", which is far worse than "Chpotle".

I am the last guy to be defending Chinese scumbags dumping inferior quality knock-offs but I kind of understand when it comes to spelling.

It's obvious that no-one at the factory caught this but, to be honest, there are several NBA players with 'Chinese tattoos" that are either gibberish or cause uproarious laughter with those who can actually read the language. If you want to dump on China for their business practices (and hey, the line starts behind me) feel free but spelling is just too easy.

Having said that I did giggle a little bit, too.

Oh and NBA players are some sort of beacon of knowledge. Honestly do you expect more out of those morons?

If you get a tattoo in a foreign language, confirmation of intent seems critical to avoid the I have a small penis tattoo.
