Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

nether regions

i have ridden off and on for several years. generally when i break off from riding it is because of numbness issues. i have now found a pretty good setup with a touring bike that is pretty upright and a specialized body geometry seat. generally now i don't have too much trouble with numbness except when pushing hard up long steep climbs. but, after long rides it's like my testicles are trying to "ascend" back into the body. very similar to being out on a very cold morning or cold water. does anyone else experience this?
