You have no idea.

You would fit right in.

My wife hasn't been on a bicycle in years. Your reading comprehension is even worse than your questionable taste in motorcycles.

Don't have a TT bike but do have the VENGE..

Actual TT bikes are pretty fast. When I compare my times on the TT bike to guys who are clearly faster than me in TT's where they are in the 'Cannibal' division (regular road bikes on the same course) I routinely beat guys who I KNOW are faster than I am. I think the TT bike gives you 1.5-2 mph on most course profiles. I think my time on that same course yesterday would be 21-21.5 mph tops on a regular road bicycle.

That is all.

I do covet your bikes a little, but I am stranded in the desert with no bike at the moment.

You would crash if you attempted the technical demands of my Fred TT course riding a TT bike.

Dave Freifelder, is he the Cat 1 NJ crit champ? If so, he had no problem hanging with the Pros at Somerville.

No. Ryan pettit is current NJ crit champ. While he is a beast he doesn't TT much.

My LBS just got this in....oh and your slipping..my reading is fine I was trying to tie in your m/c ride with Mrs.Pcad with this one. Oh forget it, it's more technical than VG, figuring out where to place her next popcorn bucket...

Does your estimate apply to all road profiles? I have yet seen any1 on a TT/Tri bike go up a cat3 or steeper climb.

Sorry, abuse is down the hall.

He consistently finishes 1st or 2nd in any TT in NJ he participates in. K. Lundgren (another pal of mine) is the current TT champ. Ken is a Cat 2, I do think Dave is a 1, although he may also be a Cat 2.

Whooshy, it's 'you're' if you are saying 'you are', which I would have thought you would have learned before you got out of third grade.

Apparently not.

Apparently not.

I gave up pointing out grammatical/spelling errors, seems like a pointless endeavor in this place.

coralreef 07-07-11 02:59 PM

It may be pointless to get people to change their grammar, but it sure ups the post count! :)

Congrats on the improvements PCAD. I'm just hoping one day I can get back to where I was a year ago before babies decided to come.

Easier said than done... I'm the mommy, and 2 month old twins are pretty demanding. Last year I could be out with the 2yo in the bike trailer easy enough, but they don't make trailers for 3 kids, or for babies under about 6 months.

Hell, I'm over 180 lbs, if I get under 170lbs I think I can get considerably faster. Felt better on the bike tonight than I have all year, I was going much better. Average cadence for that 15+ minute ride was 102. Average HR 176. That's where those numbers are when I'm healthy, so that's very encouraging considering where I was a month ago. The power is down, but that will come back and the weight will come off.

Very positive tonight. I'm not fast compared to anybody. I'm fastER than I was before and I can get faster still. I'm only racing myself.

Progress. It's a good feeling. Good work on your recovery PCAD! Now it's time to lose that stone or two?

You passed the first question to parenthood. It amazes me how many parents out there have the opposite view.

Now you are aeroerer, but lowering the bar should be aeroerest.
