Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Told me the same thing when I called to try to change from a large to medium... It already shipped though. Last night I got freaked that the price might go up so ordered a medium Ionos. I'll have either a large red Prolight or medium matte black and red Ionos that someone could buy for what I paid when I get them and find out which one fits

Well, as I had feared, the price changed when I moved it from my saved list to my cart, and that's beyond my budget right now. No fault of CC though. That's what I get for leaving money in paypal when it takes almost a week to withdraw from them.

My Prolight was waiting for me when I got home yesterday. It is indeed very light (duh ), but I really dig the strap system. It's super comfy. Rode with it this morning - it seems to vent very well. Seems on par with my Bell Sweep anyway - maybe even a bit better. Btw - saw that a lot of places seem to sell this helmet for $120 - so maybe it wasn't as good a deal as I thought?

A lot of those places have limited sizes/colors.
If they had what you needed, then great.
Plus, $20. is $20.!

I remember when I got home and mine was waiting there for me.
I put it on and began to put my packaging away and lost the helmet.
It was so light that I forgot I had it on my head!

Enjoy.

As 2ndGen said, they are limited in color and size. Part of me is tempted to take VeloGator up on her generous offer, but blue just wouldn't match most of my kits

Thanks for the heads up on this 2ndGen and to rockon for the code! CC20AP still works

I'm really starting to hate CC and even more so this forum. You guys keep making me buy things!! This is so addictive. First it was that other thread about the deals on bibs/shorts and now this. Enablers!!

Urbanknight, could you comment on the X-lite's venting capability. I tried one and found it very comfortable, but I'm wondering since it sits somewhat lower than some other helmets if it vents adequately. Thanks...

I don't have an opinion yet, but I should get a good test in on Saturday. Lately, it hasn't been as hot as the typical Summers that make me seek well ventilated helmets, though.
