Ah! I just ordered a Limar 104 on Wednesday. I would have loved to grab an Ionos for that price.

Thanks for the link. Shipping cost isn't any great deal, but at least there is no tax. In the end, it is a good bargain. Ordered an Ionos, but out of stock right now. Anticipated arrival at CC is today.

To everybody...you're welcome!
I've gotten a lot of help here from others.
Just glad I could pay it forward a bit.

The Ionos says it's main advantage is that it's lightweight. I wouldn't say 346g is lightweight. My $30 Bell comes in at 260g.

The pro light is the light one. The Ionos is the ventilated one. The Aeon is the baby of the ionos and pro light.

IMHO, the Aeon is nicer than the Ionos, but at that price difference hard to justify the extra dollars.

If weight is a priority, and you don't mind the strap mechanism, the Prolight is a better option than the Ionas.

Plus they use a internal reinforcement skeleton along with carbon fiber molded into the outer shell for added strength and helps keep the helmet together during an impact . Ive seen cheap helmets split apart during an impact, only held together by a thin plastic outer shell thats held on by tape (walmart/target).

The Ionas is a relative pig. It's very well constructed, and has some details that add weight, such as plastic hard shell covering the foam on the undeside of the helmet. It is noticeably heavier than either the Atmos or the Ionas that I've had.
If weight is a priority, and you don't mind the strap mechanism, the Prolight is a better option than the Ionas.

I believe the Ionos is supposed to be better ventilated. I love my atmos and I never felt that is lacks ventilation. The lighter weight is nice.
