A few updates, etc
Hey guys,
I felt compelled to post here since both of my threads were closed for probably good reason. Anyways, I got a new road saddle, a white Endzone/Velo one from eBay. It's a bit stiffer but I feel it does a very nice job for the less than 20.00 I spent on it. I have nearly 400 miles on the fuji so far, about 13,400 burnt calories, and 1400 fat calories burned. I have to say I quite enjoy riding the bike in complete silence and all the gears working. The roads have gotten a little better since I have experience avoiding traffic, etc. It seems like the addage is true that where you look you will go. I think that's why cars are always nearly clipping me is because they are watching me and not the road in front, so they curve towards me. I found that to be true when I just stood there trying to attact attention at the side of the road, a few cars geared my way and then went back in teh middle. So I try to avoid that by just looking straight and down on my pathway.

so you didn't raise the $90 you needed for your triathalon? Any road races coming up? Did you find a group ride sponsored by your lbs?

It does appear that Justin discovered the magic of capital letters. Or is that capitol? I can never remember.
