Here's my '14 TCR Comp 1 in midweek form. Ready to get it back out in the morning before the school buses are out and about. Swapped the stock wheels for Ksyrium Equipes. Ultegra 6800 pedals onboard as well.

Following the four-year bump with a ten year old bike...

I pedal in my sleep...
This one is now a bare frameset, but it always was one of my favorite bikes. This photo after I had just test fit some 700x28 Gatorskins for a gravel trail.

I have upgraded my 2017 TCR advanced disc a little:
Seat change - for me the Selle SLR superflow was the best demo
Wheel/tire change - wow huge difference. I have 50mm aero chinese carbon wheels that have been incredible. I bought them 4-5 months ago. Added some Conti tires.
I notice a difference in the wheels at higher speed. We ride 22-25 a lot of the time here and these wheels really help me out at higher speeds.
For the weight guys, these 2 changes dropped around 1.7 pounds off my bike, so now it is under 18 pounds. The seat change saved over 100 grams on it's own. The stock Giant seat was close to 300 grams, and my superflow is around 165 if I remember correctly.
I have thought about upgrading the stem and bars down the road, but I will get a fitting first and see how that goes.
These TCRs are so good for the money. Most of my group rides newer Cervelo and BMC. They are really nice bikes, but when it comes to maximizing performance at a lower cost, I can't see the TCR being beat here.

High five!
I wonder if it's any heftier than mine? IIRC the frame is just under a kg and the fork is 350g. Looks like the same size. ETA: no wait, it's the next size down.
ETA again: oops, yours is an Advanced too, should be a tad lighter.

I bought mine for AU$600 last year, with about a season's use on it. It was stock, with 7800 and fancy Mavics. Sold the groupset for $560. The RS80s cost $200 used, all the Red I bought used, the bike owes me about $1k (750USD) 😀

Mid 50s and have been riding on and off for about six years. The last three years I’ve avg just over 2000 mi a year, and am considering moving from endurance style bikes to the TCR. I am a little concerned about the more aggressive positioning of this bike.
The TCR I’m looking at is the new Advanced Pro 1. “So much bang for the buck” ! Will it be to uncomfortable for my solo 26 mi loop ride on mostly good roads? I try to do this three times a week. I do ride with groups on occasion also.
I consider myself to be good shape between cycling and weight / strength training. I’m 6’0 and 185 lbs.
I will be keeping my Roubaix !
Thank you !
