Wheelset has since been replaced with Mavic Ksyrium Elites. How tall are you, and what size frame is that? |

I installed my new bar extensions on my black bike a few days ago and will take pictures to post here. Hurray for black bikes ... they don't get dirty so easily ;) |
Nice collection grasschopper ... a bike for every situation :)

That Marin photo is actually way out of date, it has been converted to drop bars (though I am thinking of going back to the flat), the fenders and rack have been removed and I'm now using it for family rides rather than commuting as a job change 3.5 years ago eliminated the ability to commute by bike. :( It did let me get a black Jetta TDI Wagon though. :thumb: Hmm the wife's road bike is black too. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5277/...d36a4833_b.jpg |

why's it always gotta be about the BLACK bikes??? BAM! Bike-ists profiling... hahaha

Naw, just flip it and cut off the excess steerer. Non ergo bars and a SRAM crank would really set it off. I love the frame colors though. Specialized has always done a fantastic job with the color schemes on the Tarmac.

you guys may laugh as your pedals cost more than my whole bike, but i love the black thing

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=212209This is my $450 special. Replaced rims with Shimano RS-10's after wearing out the horrible Alex rims. Sora RD replaced with 105 after there were shifting delays. Generic Nashbar carbon fork is also an improvment over the stock aluminum one. Brakes are 105 which are a vast improvement over the stock tektros. All in all a very capable bike that takes the brunt of my miles.

Thanks guys...Mine was actually an older pic. I just went ahead and did another one in it's current stealth config...
