Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Recommendations for Upgrade

Hi all,
I had been meticulously building up a bike. I “think” I have upgraded my bike within reason in terms of comfort, performance and price and I have enjoyed it for the last several years.

However, I have got the itch again to see if there was anything else I could be upgrading to help me squeeze a little more performance out of my bike but keeping the same level of comfort.

I was hoping to get people opinion on what they would recommend to upgrade:

Frame- Serotta Concours Titanium
Love the frame, I’ve ridden, Alu and Carbon. TI just melts the vibrations away.
Fork – Easton SL X 90 Carbon
Fork has been good, but would need a 1” steerer
Handlebar – Easton EC 90
Stem – FSA OS 90
What would an integrated handlebar /stem do?
Shifters – Dura Ace 7700
I haven’t used SRAM or Campy , so don’t know if this is an upgrade here.
Brakes – Dura Ace 7700
Crank – FSA K-force carbon Compact 50-34 with Mega EXO BB
Should I match the crank and the rest of the drivetrain?
Seat post – Easton EC 90
Saddle – Ti Terry Fly
Front Derailleur – Dura Ace 7700
Cassette – XTR 11-31 Titanium (need it for the hills)
Rear Derailleur – XTR RD-M970
Wheelset – Mavic Open Pro
Tires – Specialized Elite Armadillo
Thanks in advance for any suggestion you have.

Cheers,
Rick
