Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cool, that's my favorite climb in the world just because it's not too long, not too short, not too hard, not too easy.

But the best part is the large horchata at Jilberto's Taco Shop after the descent. I probably did it around 20 times last year alone.

Awesome that you have support too!

I have a question for you OP, how were the road conditions? They seem to be more beat up (more potholes, etc.) every time I go out there.

Nice video. That brings back some nice memories of riding up that road on my motorcycle. Damn that was fun. It looks like the pavement is now a bit trashed in some places though.

BTW you are lucky to have your family supporting you like that. I think my wife would have left some water bottles by the side of the road and told me to find my own way home.
