Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've never heard of them, but it reminds me of the penguin from the old "Bloom County" comics in the 80's.

Opus is a penquin, a cigar and a wine.

And, as I now learned - a nice looking bike.

They look interesting, although the web site seems lack information on the company history, warranty, etc. Are they Canadian? (Not that it would have anything to do with the lack of information on the web site!) If you're in to having an "exclusive" bike, you'd probably see very few of them in the US, if you ever ride down here.

I'm debating between the 04 opus andante and the 05 cannondale R 700
The opus bike is about $300 (Canadian) less then the cannondale R 700 but I prbably wont be sure until i test ride them Which one is actually better??? (srry real newbie Here)

Bikes: '06 Blue Competition RC5AL w/ritchey pro fork, spinergy stealth PBO, etc.

now all we need is a company called "Bill" or, even better, "Rosebud"

I've got a friend who rides one and likes it just fine. Saying that, I don't know a whole heck of a lot about them.

He's Canadian btw...
