Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cyclops Fluid 2 trainer

I have heard that there is a second generation fluid 2 trainer that does not leak as the first one was prone to do. Is there a positive way to identify the 2nd one? I recently bought one and wanted to make sure I got the good one I have logged approximately 10 hard hours on it and really like it so far. Thanks!!!

I'm not sure but I just purchased the newest CycleOps Fluid^2 and it is a 2005 Model #9302. I'm pretty sure this is the newest one and the updated one that does not leak.

I bought one about a year ago. I think it actually says cycle-ops 2 on it.

My was the black trek labeled version.

P.S. I think the Cycle-Ops 2 is No. 1 trainer to get. Sure there may be more expensive ones out there and other brands (1-up for example), but you can't go wrong with the Cycle-Ops for the money.
