Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Would this be a Fred helmet?

I kinda like this... is this a Fred helmet? I feel like if me, your average biker, was wearing this fluorescent yellow helmet with a non-matching kit/clothes it would be a little weird?

I don't care if it's flashing purple polka-dots, if it keeps you from getting run over, it's good.

How does a helmet prevent you from getting run over? I thought it just protected your head from blunt force trauma.

If you have to ask then you don't have the confidence needed to pull it off.

I like my yellow helmet. Makes it much easier for my gf to pick me out of a crowd at events.

Well I think it is an interesting looking color for the helmet and it's visible but I just wasn't sure if I would look like a clown and stick out like a sore thumb. It does come in white/blue and white/red which are more classic looks. Black helmets look cool, but is this not recommended for regular use because it's not as visible?
Anyone have experience with this helmet? Ventilation? Comfort? Safety?

You are also wearing a tight fitting, brightly colored outfit as well, right? I really wouldn't worry about how the helmet looks at that point.

Not sure if I have any matching jerseys but maybe there are some out there that would go well. Anyone have experience with this helmet though?
