Has anyone here bought from this site?
Hey BF, I was finding some sites to buy from, was wondering if anyone has heard of/has experience with cyclingtrend.com
Link here.
Their site seems professional enough, but I can't seem to find much information on them. Have you heard of them?

Their website does not list where they are located. This is probably a site originating for China, I would stay away. There is so much counterfeit goods out of China. Have you seen recently in the news all of the fake Apple Stores that are in China? It's crazy, the employees actually think they are working for Apple.
It's always a "red flag" when you find goods that are priced way lower than anywhere else you look. There's other Chinese websites out there that sell $3000 - $4000 framesets for $1500.
I wouldn't do business with them, plus I would not want them to have access to my CC account.... That could cause big problems.

There's a couple of things you can check. One is contact information. If you have problems, are you limited to email contact? A legitimate store will generally have a street address, phone numbers, etc. (Edit: In this case, I don't see one single thing that even indicates what country they're in, and that would obviously have a large impact on shipping costs, if they actually shipped anything.)
Secondly, presuming it shows where they are located, check the bike lines they offer, then look on those manufacturers' websites and see if this dealer is listed as one of their dealers. If they are selling brand X in Country Y, but Brand X doesn't list them as a dealer, that's a pretty good sign that they're not a legitimate business.
I see their main email contact is a hotmail account, which is not very reassuring!

I have not used this site but i am in the middle of a bad experience with a site in Shanghai now for a bib set. Their size chart was screwy so I gave them all of the dimensions they asked for and the sent me a set big enough to fit two of me. On top of that the quality is very poor with a chamois that is laughable. While they are amenable to a return and credit the shipping is 2/3 the cost of the set. I took a chance and now I will be out the full cost.
