Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sampson Bikes??

Gonna try this again, but in this sub forum instead. Does anyone have any experience with this companies bikes? I've searched both the forums and the interwebz in general and have only found a relatively positive review in bicycling magazine. To be more specific, this is the particular sampson that I'm looking at: https://www.sampsonsports.com/Sampson-Express.asp. The SAS seems something like snake oil, but the prices are fantastic and the bicycling review was, as previously stated, pretty good. Thanx.

I have a Sampson Ti and it has been fantastic for the last 10 years and still going strong. Has nothing to do with the frame your looking at, except that I can tell you Sampson has been around a long time and has a good reputation for giving you good quality frame at a low price.

Wow, their photography skills suck. Is it just me or does the diablo s frame look like a polished schwinn varsity?

That really is ridiculous. There are 12 sentences -- 3 ending in periods and 9 ending in exclamation points. Where is that Seinfeld video....?

On the positive side, they have been in the bike biz for a while. Which should count for something. Their component groups are made by Microshift and are really quite good in the quality dept. Not too many out there so you would be exclusive on your group ride also.
