What do you guys wear when it gets cold?
Pardon my ignorance as always... it has literally gone from the sunny 100s to drury 50s in a week. I was looking at arm and leg sleeves today; is that the trick to beat the cold? Do you wear a heavier jersey or different pants? I hope to get some info because I am on a good streak of rides and don't want to stop due to the cool weather! Thanks in advance!

Arm and leg warmers ("sleeves") for colder starts that might end up sunny or hot. For days that start cold and end cold a base layer under a long-sleeve jersey (insulated if you want to stay even warmer) and bib tights to replace bib shorts. That is all.
Oh yeah, and slightly thicker wool blend cycling socks and shoe covers to keep the dogs warm.

I cover my knees in the 50s and use long fingered gloves. Armwarmers are a maybe. They usually come off mid ride anyways so I just don't bother wearing them. I do bring a packable jacket if I plan on doing some serious descending.

Arm warmers, knee warmers and a vest are the most useful purchases you can make for colder conditions. You may need to add a base layer for up top too. I'm able to ride with that combo down to about 32 degrees before adding tights or a jacket. Also, a balaclava or some sort of head/ear warmer is necessary once it gets into the low 50's or 40's. Good luck, I don't miss those nasty winters...
