Tri-athlon bars

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tri-athlon bars

Does anyone use them? Looking to get a little more aero-dynamic from time to time on my Sirrus Pro. Are they comfortable?

These things are just like saddles...you can spend alot of time finding the right one and then spend more time adjusting them for your comfort level. I can only stand being in them for a few minutes before I change position.

If you are talking about the aero bars, I love them. I have a set on my road bike. Whenever I get on my commuter bike, I find myself wanting to use them.

My advice, don't get the cheapest. You don't need the most expensive either.

I have the Profile Design Airstryke ZB2000 ($79). The arm rests pop up out of the way when not in use. I also mount my computer at the very top of them. That way the computer is within a easy thumb reach. You can kind of see my setup here: https://icdweb.cc.purdue.edu/~kobyj/p...cannondale.jpg. I'm sorry that the picture is a little blurry. My scanner doesn't work quite right.

Remember to not use them while riding in a group. It is highly frowned upon.

That's what I had in mind . Are they called aero bars or tri-athlon bars?
