Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My 7yr old daughter doesn't create and make as much drama as you by heckling people for responding to the topic of the thread.

If you don't like reading about people's crash stories, you should re-read the title and first post, and then reconsider if this is really the thread for you.

HTFU.

yea it happens to the best... and the worst of us. I was riding home from a party one night, really drunk, after mashing face with some girl I did not know. So I thought I was really cool. And I thought my converse all stars would stick to my spd's just fine. NOPE hit a pothole and put my foot through my front wheel. Rolf Vector Pros look cool but there is far too much space between the spokes. I fell straight on my head. No helmet of course and now I have a nice big scar on my temple.
