Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Removed lock harness from frame and it left 2 visible scuff marks. Tips?

I had a bike lock harness removed from my bike frame. Now there is 2 scuff marks.
I know I'm being picky, but when I removed the lock harness that was on my bike, from the frame, there is 2 lines in the frame where the strap went around the frame post. Its not a scratch but 2 scuffed lines in the finish. Probably where the strap was tightened against the frame. Its noticable because the rest of the bike has a nice clear finish. Its a new bike and do you guys now how and if you can rebuff this out somehow? Thanks.

You'd have to do a repaint using nail polish

Use some polishing compound (not rubbing compound)
