Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

For $10,000 even you could have had a limited edition Giant Tour de France TCR a year ago. A local shop (name withheld) had one of only a handful in the nation.

I was told by an employee it was sold to a bike fan named Robin in California...no joke.

Or, how about a limited edition Colnago C50 Ferrari....? Only $7,500, so you could get a second wheelset (Campy Hyperons) to make up the difference ($2,500).

For the tandem folks, a custom sized carbon Calfee Tetra / Tetra with Dura Ace will set you back around $9,500. Spend the other $500 on Assos Ti shorts and a wool jersey.

Ah, to dream...

That said playing along with the game at hand - I will take one of these https://www.competitivecyclist.com/za...PRODUCT.ID=132
In Canada we still get to keep 100% of lottery winnings. I'll take that new Merckx that Skinny Eddy was holding in the last Velonews.. Although in Canadian funds it's probably more than $10,000. Crap.
