Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This is simply Amazing!!

Monique van der Vorst was an Olympic Hand cycling champion, paralyzed since the age of 13, is now able to walk after a serious crash and reversed her paralysis. And now eyes 2016 body enabled Olympics in cycling! it is amazing how the body works.

That truly is amazing. When I was an intern at the VA hospital, a patient who had been paraplegic for 15 years fell over while he was in a standing frame. As he recovered from his concussion and broken wrist, he realized that he was starting to regain sensation. That patient ended up getting nearly 100% return.

I hope Ms. van der Vorst's next chapter in cycling can continue to be successful.
