Evo first Impression
OK now you know the kind of person giving this impression and what's on the bike, now the bike.. I did 37 miles today first thing I noticed was how much power got transferred to the ground, I've heard people say this before and thought you spin the crank and you go forward but now I understand. Also noticed all the cracks and imperfections in the road more so than the synapse almost like a aluminum synapse that I tested. It turned better. I didn't do any big hills or decent but the ones I did do it felt stable on the decent.
Will this bike make me faster ? only if it makes me ride more, search out hills etc. It may give me a 1/2 mph pop but after that you have to do the training and I think it will.
I must say the Ultegra Di2 is the bomb. Like the evo I'm not at the level where I need this stuff but I'm happy I do. It cost you a little in weight but FOR ME it's worth it. I will update my impression once I ride it more and when I get some parts in.

Except for the cranks and all the red parts, it looks like a SWEET bike! Congrats and I'm glad you like it! Oh yeah, I must say that I agree 100% that Di2 is worth the extra weight. Good choice here. I'm sure it shifts like butta!

My Evo just makes me want to ride more. Monster hill climber, enormous power transfer, almost seems like what you put into the stroke is amplified into the back wheel. Awesome bike...congrats!

Hi, Had a chance to do around 40 more miles with 2,700 ft. of climb and even with my heavy wheels this bike is a great improvement over the only other bike I can compare it to my 2010 Synapse carbon 5. I'm loving this thing....

Very nice bike. You have plenty of time to upgrade parts. Take your time and do some research. I'd go for a good set of climnbing wheels. As long as you aren't over 180lbs, you should be able to score some lightweights(1300gm or so) for $500 or less. That will knock off a pound right there. And that frame deserves a set of Hollowgrams SL's. You can sell the SLK's for a good price, people love those things. FSA is the BOSE of cycling.

I have a box of parts from my synapse frame that was warranted, if I build a back up I could move tba fsa over to that and buy a SL but i think I'm already spoiled with Di2
