Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You are NOT cycling long enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone if you havent seen this you will enjoy it. There is this middle aged man and he is addicted to cycling, very interesting to watch as they try and help his addiction. there are 2 addictions in each full 30 minute show, so there is another addiction that they cover, its taxadermy, you can just skip forward to the cycling parts. here is the first part https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeQ3KS9dFnY and here is the second part https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoLKv...eature=related

enjoy this if you havent seen this before, scary ending for the cycling guy, oh and by the way when i first seen the guys bike i laughed LOL

Three comments about the cycling guy in the video:
-He is out of his focquing mind
-He is out of his focquing mind
-He is out of his focquing mind

Without watching the whole thing, I'm going to declare shenanigans! With a bike like that there is no way he could have a true cycling addiction, true cycling addictions put you thousands in debt and you end up buying a Cervelo with no idea why. Just a quick look through the Addiction thread could be a case for a mini-series.

I like his fit on his bike... Adamo saddle nose way down, aero bars and stem pointing way up. Very effective. You'd think someone who rides 8 hours a day would be fully emaciated regardless of diet, but he's very bulky by cyclist standards. All very odd.

On an unrelated note, it's a shame that other addict is so creepy with taxidermy, she's actually pretty hot

If the wife hasn't yelled at you to get the frag out of the house and ride yer damn bike, because you are tirelessly pacing up and down the living room, then you're not addicted.

I think the reason that cyclist is messed up isn't so much because he rides a lot, it's mostly because he has poor form and never stretches.

HAHAHAHAA that's exactly what I thought! According to the video he has over 82,000 hours of training in, so he should dominate all of the grand tours by that logic.
