Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm just going to throw this out there; what are some road frames with high bottom brackets and short wheel bases? aka road bikes that feel like track bikes?

Do you plan to do some tricking with gears or something?

No, but I've always loved aggressive geometry so I'd thought I'd ask whether people know if some frames feel more aggressive than others.

search the forums for good crit bikes - the old school idea of a 'crit bike' had pretty similar handling characteristics to track bikes. you may be able to find some older frame that fits the bill.

nowadays, the idea of a 'crit bike' has less to do with geometry (most road geo is really similar across the board), and more about cost effectiveness in the event of a wreck.

Could always try a cross frame and swap out the chainrings/tires for road stuff.
