Anyone ride a Faglund?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone ride a Faglund?

Anyone here ride one? I have a friend that has had one for a few months and he likes it more than his caad10. They cost about half of what the 10 costs.

Seriously thinking about buying a faglund. Talk me out of it.

yo i've never sat on a faglund but i've heard that the faglund ride can be a little rough especially if it's your first time

the easiest place to test ride a faglund is in men's bathroom of a highway rest stop.

Do they make Faglund manocoque frames?

faglund has a monocoque and a dublocoque option. the dublocoque is definitely not for first timers you gotta be pretty experienced or very intoxicated.

Very stiff, rough ride. Especially if you are not compliant.

Sure. Faggin up the track too...

I dunno if I could do plastic Faggin, though. I'm a metal bike curmudgeon.

Bikes: Domane SLR Gen 4

Reminds me of a 4th grade joke about.."why do polish people bury people with their butts above ground?"
"So people can visit on bicycles .."

Seat optional?

Bikes: All have flats.

What sounded like spam gets inundated by homophobic 4th graders.

Lame thread.

Personally, I thought the puns/jokes were funny, and not homophobic. It's the internet. Lighten up.

Tell that to the OP who was trying to start a discussion about Faglund bikes.
Homophobic is a bit strong.
Still stupid as hell.

Stupid as hell... I'll give you that, certainly. It seems the OP is, in the words of the great Tobias Fünke, "buy-curious" https://www.cyclebetting.com/02/2012/...ide-a-faglund/

That cyclebetting site skims content from bike forums and has been doing so for at least a year now.

Click on the links above the thread title there and you can find exact clones of other recent posts here.
