Colnago Dream Lux!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Colnago Dream Lux!

I was trolling craigslist and happened upon this beauty. When I saw it I just knew I had to have it. I emailed the seller and as soon as he returned to town I set up a meeting to pick it up. After locking my keys in my car as soon as I got there(along with the cash) and getting a spare key from home, I had it. I'll leave you with a picture to drool over.

I'm pretty set on whats going on here, but I'm open to suggestions.

I've always had a soft spot for that bike. That's one of the better paint jobs I've seen too. Look forward to build pics. You should post some side by sides with the Bianchi. Love the bonus pic too.

Nice frame. Love the color.

That cat looks like trouble tho. Both pix have him looking like he's ready to chew something.

I like the looks of it!! But I'm not familiar enough with Colnago's to know what model and year this is. What is it? Or is Dream Lux the actual name of the bike?

Which one? The one yawning in the first pic is the mischievous one, right now he's doing laps around the house.

I need some campy brakes, but I'm waiting for a deal to pop up, I don't need to get this bike rolling.

Dream Lux is the model, it's made from Columbus Airplane Aluminum tubing. I could get the serial and attempt to look it up.
