Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It looks like to the east there may be some hills. Try a circuit from Chichester to Petersfield, East Meon, to Homdean, Compton go NE to the top of the ridge bear right down New Rd. back Chichester.

Categorized? Probably not.

On the basis that Ferguzz is in the UK, check out a book called '100 Greatest Cycling Climbs: A Road Cyclist's Guide to Britain's Hills' this has climbs from all over the UK, and should have some local to the Hampshire area.

Are you the guy who wanted to send the National Guard into Georgia when there was an insurrection there?

Portsmouth, Hampshire is my old turf. The Farlington Avenue climb up Portsdown Hill is a pretty good haul that was used in a stage in the TDF a few years ago (don't think it was categorized). Some good hills in the Petersfield/Wichester area.
