Hi. I just picked up my new Tarmac.Is it appropriate to 'hang' a CF bike as shown in the pic? I've never had an issue with my aluminum Allez.

With the amount of vibration those bikes appear to be subject , there's a serious risk of abraiding through the clear coat into the carbon fiber.

Give the OP a break. Carbon bikes are so fast, that it's hard to get clear pictures of them.

Vibrating like that, a carbon frame is sure to asplode in a catastrophic fashion.

OP, i recommend squeezing your legs together against the camera's top tube.

The pic is actually so bad it's difficult to see how it's hung.

I highly recommend finding a stable wall.
