Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

A quick google-ing of "Claud San Remo" turned up this which indicates that the handlebars are in fact 31.8mm, which is the handlebar clamp diameter of the stem you linked to. So that part is good.

The other end needs to match the size of the fork your bike has. Virtually every fork made has a 1 1/8" threadless steering column (the part that extends up into the frame), so unless you are really unlucky, it'll fit.

You waited a total of 13 minutes and posted 3 times. really? I mean, REALLY? I remember when I was 15 and first started with online forums and I didn't even do that back then.

Doing a quick search would have saved you 12 minutes of your time, plus the additional 10 you waited for an answer.

Chances are that it will fit. Most handlebars now have a 31.8 diameter. If you bike is newer than a 2002 or 2003 then you will have a 1 1/8" steer tube which will fit the stem you are looking at.

I reported the post. I'm sure the site admins will get right on changing the look of the site.

I just looked at the site, and there's no way it's identical. It's not even the same software. It's phpBB software, and uses their free template.

Get out of here. If you are going to ask legitimate questions and contribute, that's fine. However, we don't need bad trolls on this board. Tom-grounds for ban?

53 posts and of that 13 are threads being started. I have been on forums for about 10 years now and I've probably started about that many threads....maybe 20.
