Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Road Bike Question

Hello i am new to the forum so i hope that i am posting this in the right section. I have in my possession a 2009 Diamondback Racing Podium 3, originally it retails for $1400 and i am looking to sell the bike. My question is what should i be getting for it? I have a couple of people offering around the $800 mark and i am trying to get rid of it in order to pay bills. Also is there anyone who has experience with the Podiums or knows much about them? Thanks in advance.

If people are offering 800, take it without thinking twice.

My 06' podium 1 was $200 and i feel it is no longer worth that much anymore (I have some personal issues with my bike)

300-350 may be a fair price but it also depends A LOT on condition, show us some pictures

*Also looks like the newer ones have better components, what does yours have?

Mod's edit - Feel free to ask questions about the value of a bike but do not post links to the for sale listing. To sell a bike requires an upgraded membership.

There are actual people offering $800 for that bike? Are they out of the country and will they be using a "reliable" carrier that they have used multiple times?
