I just bought the 105's on Amazon and love them. Coming from the M520's it's a tad bit of a learning curve for me. Made a huge fool of myself at a red light desperately trying to get my right foot back in while I was holding up traffic. =x Came straight home and turned the tension all the way down.

1. Good condition used Dura Ace 7810 pedals - stupid stiff. Will work for more miles than you want to ride and only get smoother and smoother with time. Best pedal out there in my opinion.
2. Ebay/Amazon/Ribble bike will get you some new ultegra pedals for 100 shipped. I got some off ribble for 87 shipped recently.

Nashbar's Izoard pedals can usually be had for $40-50 and weigh in at 266gr a pair (which is lighter than most of the pedals mentioned here). I've run them for several years with no issue. It makes me laugh because this sort of thing doesn't matter to me at all, but they're often mistaken for the much more expensive Looks (and an industry pal tells me they're made in the same factory in Taiwan :) ), though I would be the first to say I'm sure the Looks are much more durable.
