KevinmH9 01-18-05 01:35 PM

 *Think Warm Thoughts* The temperature here is in the negative digits, and thats not adding the windchill, which is -20 degrees F.

I LOVE that commercial!!! :D

I'm going to have to "settle" for the trainer as I don't have time to go for a *proper* ride.

EventServices 01-18-05 01:50 PM

P-honix?
The largest City in arizona?
The state capitol?

Gosh, it was -2 here this morning. Tomorrow, it's supposed to be 32!
You can laugh, but that's short sleeve weather for us!

matanza 01-18-05 01:51 PM

Only did 75 miles yesterday... 1/2 hour more and off to the hills for a quick recovery ride in the WARM, WARM, sunshine today. Adios amigos...

Oh sure, Phoenix is great right now. What's the average daytime temp in the spring and summer?

I rode all last summer, but mostly in the mornings when it is cooler. like 90-100 in the mornings and as high as 120 at the worst of the heat.

Just means you drink plenty and use sunscreen. Also much cooler out of the city area away from all the concrete.

Of course you can always go to Flagstaff where it can be 30 degrees or more cooler

trekcyclist1000 01-18-05 03:24 PM

hi565 01-18-05 03:30 PM

I guess life really isn't fair, is it? 65 and sunny here, but I can't get out early today for anything. Rather be you right now ;)
