I am looking for a tire under $30, that has low rolling resistance, and is not too heavy and has some kind of tire puncture protection. Is there any at below $30?

Michelin Lithion 2, I'm on my second set with only a few flats. They are cut up everywhere, but never quite deep enough.

There are plenty of tires under $30. I have no idea if they have ever been tested for rolling resistance, though. Do you race?

I've been riding on Vittoria Zaffiro's which usually go for under $20. There is a pro version that costs a few $ more but are still under $30 each. I've got somewhere over 2000 miles on them. Keeping a close eye on the rear one which is now acquiring a squared off profile and will need replacement soon.

Check out Forte Pro+ Road Tire or Forte Pro Lite Road Tire at Performancebike. They are both under $30 and ride nicely with 120 tpi and all. If you check around you might find Michellin Krylion on sale for $30/each also.

Professionally NO, against my friends, every time we are out riding. I am building a second bike and don't want to put too much money into it, but still want to be able to have some decent tires for the money.

Bought and installed Continental Grand Prix 4000 S yesterday and OMG... is all I can say.

Nice tires, but they are over $30, i am looking for some budget options on a second bike.

Serfas Seca wire bead or maybe the RS (folding version) if you shop around for the lowest price.

If you shop around you can often find them for about $35, which is money well spent.

cheapest i've seen them is like over $50 each. $35/each, that is a great deal, i would get those on my main bike and transfer the tires to my second build then. Do you know where i could get them at that price?

Serfas Seca, Continental Supersport, Michelin Dynamic Sport are some of the better (inexpensive) tires that I have used. I will not comment on the puncture resistance...that's bad luck!

You can get half a decent tire for $30.

save some money and then go for GP4000s, you deserve it

$35 is what people get them for when they go on sale at british sites like ribble and probikekit. It happens every couple of months or so and with PBK you might need a code, too.

What's the big deal with gp 4000? I'm thinking about buying a pair soon jus to see what the hype is all about.

Just bought my first pair of them and they ride fantastically (grippy, smooth riding, lightweight). Definitely worth the money.
