Currently my favorite jersey..(Pearl Izumi Attack). I have one in red as well. Also have a couple Louis Garneau that I like as well. Most manufacturers sell one or two fairly plain jerseys. I love the look of some of the Capo and Castelli styles as well but my current budget is nil.

Most of my jerseys are Castelli or Sugoi, I did pick up a Diadora that I haven't tried on a ride yet.
I'll probably give this one a go today. I looked @ the pink Garmin Giro Jersey that Hesjedal took home last week, but walked away, I don't deserve that jersey yet... :D |
My personal opinion is, if it would look ugly as a shirt it's ugly as a jersey. Many folks take the chance to dress up like some kind of superhero, or make some political statement, just because they're putting a on bike jersey. Like they're putting on some kind of costume or something.
Why is this? You're just a regular guy riding a bike. It's not unusual or weird. Of course team jerseys are the exception, but then you really are putting on a sort of costume, for a specific purpose. Me, I just get bright, simple jerseys from a handful of preferred makers. My advice is to go to a few bike shops and find something that fits, and apply your regular sense of aesthetics to your purchasing decision. Would you wear a t-shirt around town with a coiled rattle snake on it? If you would, well I guess that's okay then. |

SO I am a week into this road bike addiction of which I know nothing about or the culture surrounding it. I am looking at jerseys and shoes now so I can try to blend in and not look like a total d bag to the regulars :innocent: . What the he11 am I supposed to where for a jersey? Everything has some team or product scribbled across it and I honestly have no affiliations or reason to want something all across my chest/back.
