Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rolf Vector hubs

Can a Rolf Vector Pro wheelset have the freehub changed from Campy to Shimano without having to respoke the hub?

Not sure about the Vector Pro - the Prima Elan certainly can. More likely to have to re-dish the Vector as opposed to change spokes.

Conversion cassettes are an option - American Classic has a nice one - I bought it to run the Vigors on the Tete.

Here's another option: www.jtekengineering.com/shiftmate.htm

Whoa......You mean reuse the same spokes with the Campy hub right? Or do you mean something different?

All you should have to do is order a new Freehub body from a Trek dealer. It won't be cheap but you should not have to re-lace the wheel.

On a side note, a friend of mine had his rear Rolf Pro wheel re-laced and it cost a fortune. I don't remember what the total was but I remember being surprised at how much it cost.
